Fazer makes whistleblowing available for its employees and external parties. It is an important tool to foster trust and embolden customer and public trust in our business.

Whistleblowing is a tool to report serious suspicions of misconduct or illegal activities. Any employee or external party can do so in good faith, anonymously, without fearing repercussion. If you see something worth reporting to us, speak up about it. The matters you should report may concern:

  • bribes or improper gifts
  • competition law infringements
  • data protection law infringements
  • harassment
  • other serious violations of legislation or Fazer Group's Code of Conduct (ethical principles)

Our whistleblowing service is encrypted and password-protected, and no metadata is saved, nor will IP addresses be tracked. Thus, identification of any anonymous whistle-blower is impossible. The anonymous whistle-blower gets an ID and a password before submitting their report which they can use to log in and read responses from the whistleblowing team, and even send messages back.

Whistleblowing reports are available to the Fazer whistleblowing team and other selected and trusted parties, when necessary. Cases are handled taking the interests of all the persons involved into account. Personal data is deleted or anonymised when the case is closed or no longer needed.
