Chocolate not only tastes amazing, but it also has many different benefits that can help us lead a happier and healthier life as it contains many nutrients, a moderate amount of fibre, and even some important minerals. Chocolate with higher levels of cocoa retain even more of the nutrients from the cocoa plant and pack a healthier punch.

Milk chocolate and dark chocolate have their own distinct health benefits. Dark chocolate has lots of fibre, potassium, and magnesium, while milk chocolate contains nutrients found in milk, including calcium and vitamin B2. Chocolate also contains polyphenols, a natural antioxidant that can boost well-being by protecting the body. Similar antioxidants are found in fruits, vegetables, teas, red wine, and chocolate. They can help our bodies maintain normal blood circulation levels by preserving the elasticity in our blood vessels.
